How to Sweet Talk a Super Affiliate

Super affiliates are people enrolled in your affiliate program that really know how to produce.

These high volume affiliates consistently generate lots of sales and thus bring in a lot of revenue for your business.

It is no wonder that you want to find ways to let them know how much you appreciate their hard work. Here are some things you can do to provide your top producers with additional incentives to keep building on their efforts.

Construct Your Compensation Packages Carefully

First, put together a special tier of compensation that is open only to affiliates who reach a certain level of sales and maintain that level for three or so months.

This special commission structure will provide a slightly higher percentage than your standard commission that any affiliate can claim. Qualifying for this higher tiered commission structure ensures you reward your top affiliates while also providing them with incentive to drive those sales even higher.

A second approach would be to leave your commission structure as is, but add a bonus program to the mix. Again, your super affiliate would have to meet certain sales figures in order to be eligible for the bonus.

You can pay out a flat bonus amount for sales that fall within given perimeters, or offer a one-time additional percentage on all sales generated by the affiliate in the qualifying period.

One of the tools that both you and your affiliates use to make money is landing pages. The landing page is simply a web page that provides the ideal way to make the case for buying a product and making it easy for a consumer to do so.

If you have an affiliate who is a whiz with landing pages, recognize that and offer additional incentives for launching more landing pages or coming up with landing page designs that really reel in the prospects.

Many of your affiliates go about creating their own roster of loyal customers who come back and purchase products over and over. You can help grow this repeat business, and make more sales for your business by offering your super affiliate a discount program that can be in turn offered to those customers.

The discount may be based on the number of units purchased, or include the ability to buy one product at regular price and purchase a second product of equal or lesser value for a discount. Since everybody likes to save money, this can be a great approach for both you and your super affiliate.

Offer Bonuses for Your Customers

Offering some additional services or free products especially for the customers of super affiliates an also help generate additional sales.

Provide your super affiliate with the authorization to extend a free product, ten free hours of technical support, or some other service that the customer would normally have to pay for. Both the customers and the affiliate will be able to make good use of this type of extra perk.

Because your super affiliate moves your products so quickly, it would make good business sense to allow your top sellers to have first crack at any new products you begin to offer. Provide the super affiliate with advance information about a new product offering, and allow him or her to sell the product ahead of the pack.

Even as little as a two week head start before you announce the product to your entire affiliate network could really jumpstart the sales and reap big rewards for you and your super affiliate.

Expanding Your Membership Site

| September 15, 2009

One of the main questions new managers of member sites ask is “How do I expand my membership site?” Sure, you can tell all your friends, family members and co-workers about your new site and hope they pass on the message, but is there anything else that can be done?

Yes there is. You can become an affiliate.

So what is an affiliate?

Basically, an affiliate program is a type of internet-based marketing that a business or product seller sets up so that other people can sell their products for a commission. You will be related to another company, working closely with them to get your site out there, but not controlled by it.

In other words, it’s a marketing strategy used to gain extra income by advertising for certain businesses. You, the manger of your member site will also become the affiliate program manager in order to promote your membership site.

It’s one of the best ways to direct traffic to your site and earn you potential customers.

Sound’s good doesn’t it?

But it gets better.

First off, in most cases, affiliate programs are free. The merchant does not gain a marketing expense unless results are accrued. This means no high costs and no hassles.

Second off, it’s a lot easier getting help from an affiliate program than starting from scratch. With an affiliate, you are basically just joining onto something that customers already know of. This means there is no need to try and pitch your idea of something new, which is difficult to do, to say the least.

Furthermore, with an affiliate program, there is less risk involved and a better chance of getting customers to your site.
Thirdly, there is a wide selection of different affiliate programs depending on what kind of website you are running. Just make sure you look for businesses that are relative to your niche market.

Fourthly, you will be making an income 24/7 by not doing anything! Even while you are sleeping, someone could be online, clicking onto your site and joining your website.

And, best of all, the affiliate programs will help get your product exactly to your right customers. If your website is about gardening, then your main target audience is avid gardeners. The affiliate programs will work in getting those customers to your website.

This creates a better opportunity to put your business out there to make you money! Because, let’s face it, we need to rely on more business than just friends and family.

And, with the help of affiliate programs, you will be well on your way to gaining hundreds, if not thousands of members!

However, the whole process can get a little confusing and hard to maintain if you don’t have the correct help. That’s why it’s essential to read through the Membership Sites Made Easy in order to get the most from your affiliate programs.

After all, everyone could use a little help, and with affiliate programs and Membership Sites Made Easy, help is just a click away.

Using Teleseminars to Boost Your Passive Income

| April 13, 2009

Teleseminars are a fantastic way to earn income based on a product or service you have to offer. Did you ever stop to think that teleseminars are also a great way to help boost your passive income?

Possibly the biggest dream for business owners and entrepreneurs today is to be able to do the work once and have the income roll in over and over again, whether they continued to work or not.

This is the point where telesiminars can step in and help begin to bridge the gap.

By making a recording of your teleseminar you increase your ability to reuse that information and the atmosphere created during the teleseminar. You can bundle the recording with other information tools or services you offer. Because you have already done the leg work to set the tone, get the people there and present your information with finesse, you only have to do the work once if you record your seminars.

Without the recording, anytime you want to re-present the information you shared during the call, you have to physically present the details again. Why not take advantage of the first time and just use that as a tool over and over?

Another way to boost your passive income with teleseminars is to make sure you handle the question and answer section correctly. You want to deliver on the initial excitement created by the marketing of the teleseminar. Getting people talking is a great way to boost passive income.

With this form of passive income, you do the work one time and let everyone else spread the word for you. There is no surprise that word of mouth marketing is by far the most cost efficient and effective way to market any product. Just deliver on the promise you made, to get people to the teleseminar. From there, those in attendance will talk about it for days, weeks and months after.

Creating an affiliate program is one more way you can re-use your teleseminar content to help generate income time and again. Offer the teleseminar recording, transcript or both to your affiliates. Let them use it to promote one of your products or services. Watch your profits grow as more and more of your affiliates bring in sales from avenues you may not be able to reach.

Of course there are many other ways of turning your teleseminar into a passive income booster, but recognizing that each teleseminar you hold has the potential of working long after you go to bed should be reason enough to put the time and effort into making it your best one yet. By putting forth the effort and thinking of creative ways to make your efforts work hard for you, your teleseminars can practically become clones of you.

You are simply duplicating the attitude and self confidence you had at that one particular point in order to make a great sale over and over again. All it takes is some effort at the front end and your teleseminar will pay dividends on the back end.
