How to Sweet Talk a Super Affiliate

Super Affiliate Lifestyle :)

Super affiliates are people enrolled in your affiliate program that really know how to produce.

These high volume affiliates consistently generate lots of sales and thus bring in a lot of revenue for your business.

It is no wonder that you want to find ways to let them know how much you appreciate their hard work. Here are some things you can do to provide your top producers with additional incentives to keep building on their efforts.

Construct Your Compensation Packages Carefully

First, put together a special tier of compensation that is open only to affiliates who reach a certain level of sales and maintain that level for three or so months.

This special commission structure will provide a slightly higher percentage than your standard commission that any affiliate can claim. Qualifying for this higher tiered commission structure ensures you reward your top affiliates while also providing them with incentive to drive those sales even higher.

A second approach would be to leave your commission structure as is, but add a bonus program to the mix. Again, your super affiliate would have to meet certain sales figures in order to be eligible for the bonus.

You can pay out a flat bonus amount for sales that fall within given perimeters, or offer a one-time additional percentage on all sales generated by the affiliate in the qualifying period.

One of the tools that both you and your affiliates use to make money is landing pages. The landing page is simply a web page that provides the ideal way to make the case for buying a product and making it easy for a consumer to do so.

If you have an affiliate who is a whiz with landing pages, recognize that and offer additional incentives for launching more landing pages or coming up with landing page designs that really reel in the prospects.

Many of your affiliates go about creating their own roster of loyal customers who come back and purchase products over and over. You can help grow this repeat business, and make more sales for your business by offering your super affiliate a discount program that can be in turn offered to those customers.

The discount may be based on the number of units purchased, or include the ability to buy one product at regular price and purchase a second product of equal or lesser value for a discount. Since everybody likes to save money, this can be a great approach for both you and your super affiliate.

Offer Bonuses for Your Customers

Offering some additional services or free products especially for the customers of super affiliates an also help generate additional sales.

Provide your super affiliate with the authorization to extend a free product, ten free hours of technical support, or some other service that the customer would normally have to pay for. Both the customers and the affiliate will be able to make good use of this type of extra perk.

Because your super affiliate moves your products so quickly, it would make good business sense to allow your top sellers to have first crack at any new products you begin to offer. Provide the super affiliate with advance information about a new product offering, and allow him or her to sell the product ahead of the pack.

Even as little as a two week head start before you announce the product to your entire affiliate network could really jumpstart the sales and reap big rewards for you and your super affiliate.

Creative Offers Generate Excitement And Customer Loyalty

great offers for 2008

No one likes to be marketed with the same old buy this, blah, blah, blah.

People want to feel that they’ve not only been privy to a great opportunity, but also that they’ve just closed on a killer deal.

You want people on your site to actually want to receive your next sales offer because they are excited about your products and services.

For that, you have to engage some creative copy writing and implement offers that enthuse your customers.

Under Price And Over Deliver

One way to get people excited to get any offer from you is to always under price and over deliver on your products. For that, you need to make the customer aware of the real value of the offer, so that they understand what a fantastic deal you are offering.

Then, when you deliver your product or service, always seek to deliver more than what you promised. This works particularly well on introductory products to new customers. It can help them overcome any distrust they may have and really make them gung ho on your future offers.

One Time Offers

Another way to generate excitement is to give out one-time offers on the order form that seriously upgrades a purchase for an unbelievable price. Just make sure the customer knows that this is a one time offer and that if they miss it this time, they’ll never see it again.

Then, stick to your word! Don’t offer them that opportunity again. If the customer does ever see that offer again, and can get it, they will never believe you again when you say that you have a one time offer and the sense of urgency and excitement will be lost.

Cross Sells And Up Sells

Creative offers can help your customers identify other products that can solve their problems or give them better value. Rather than being a hard sell, if creatively fashioned, they can be seen as helpful guidance to makes sure your customer gets exactly the product that they need. You will be able to increase your bottom line while helping to meet your customers’ needs.

Social Media Optimization and Test Marketing

Have you heard of social media optimization? Test Marketing?

Social media optimization or in other words social media that markets through using information gathered from social communities.

A few examples of social media optimization tools and websites include blogging/RSS feeds for blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and MySpace, BEBO and incorporating third-party applications to communities like Facebook and Myspace.

Social media optimization is similar to search engine optimization, but differs in many ways, Mostly, the focal point is on driving traffic from sources within Social bookmarking sites and communities other than directing traffic from search engines.

The number of social media websites has exploded in the last year and each of these new social networking websites is different, they all attract different audiences with individual and diverse interests. More and more businesses want to experiment with social media optimization and you can see this in the explosion in popularity of Twitter.

Twitter, one of the newest social networking websites, it uses micro-blogging and many people are getting actively involved in generating publicity through this form of social media. When you “twitter” or micro-blog, post pictures, and/or links you are inviting others into your life to comment and ultimately approve or reject what you are offering. This type of immediate response is an incredible way to gather “up to the minute” targeted information.

Why is this important might you ask?

Getting feedback about your product and services is very important and can help immensely when branding your company. Business reputation is very important in branding and marketing and up to date immediate feedback is considered an integral part of an online reputation management system.

That is why many executives are now seeing the worth of using social bookmarking and social media optimization to test Search Engine Reputation Management strategies. this is incredible for organizations or individuals who need to enhance their online presence but cannot afford to pay for surveys and focus groups.

Using social communities can optimize your “linkability” or give you feed back and tips on ways to make your brand more comfortable,

Along with immediate feedback about your brand popularity it can also help your overall business.

Companies and individuals can now successfully use services like Tweetscan or Tweepbeep to monitor each and every time their company name or one of their products names are mentioned on Twitter and then choose to respond accordingly through the social media website or through their marketing, or engineering departments.

This has the potential for real time insight for a company CEO, whom often lose touch, with the people who are using the products or services their corporation provides.

Imagine, if back in the late eighties, the board of K-mart could have been following social media sites instead of listening to yes men in the company. Then perhaps they could have understood how a line in a movie like Rain Man where Dustin Hoffman says “K-mart sucks” could become the punch line to a joke they had already become.

Smart companies that want to avoid that kind of meltdown are learning to keep their finger on the pulse of consumers wants and needs and if you want to succeed you’ll want to do the same thing.
